Owner and Founder
Quail Street was born in my home kitchen, and is named after the family of quail that frequent our backyard.
I began selling sourdough pizza dough to my neighbors as a way to keep my leftover starter from going in the trash, and discovered that people are interested in a product that makes home pizza night less time-consuming and more nutritious.
It’s taken me years to gain confidence in my own sourdough baking, so I also want to help more people access and enjoy sourdough baking at home. Bread is something I can (and do) make almost every day, so I’m on a mission to make it easy and fun for you to do the same. When I’m not busy running Quail Street, you’ll find me hiking, skiing, or experimenting with new recipes.
