Argentina’s Best Empanadas

We blend Argentine heritage with a healthy desire to eat clean, fresh foods made with ingredients from local farmers to create the best handcrafted empanadas in the Salt Lake Valley. It’s a product from a different country, made with the naturally delicious agricultural products Utah is known for.

We pride ourselves by offering 11 varieties of homemade style empanadas, including: traditional beef, lemon beef, chicken ricotta, spinach feta, ham and cheese, cheese and onion, cheese and beans, vegan lemon, vegan traditional, apple dulce leche, raspberry chocolate nutella; as well as handcrafted chipa bread – a gluten free, cheesy bread.

Because our foods are made to order, we don’t use frozen ingredients. And, we guarantee the freshness and quality of every empanada. You can still find us at the farmers market, serving up more than tasty food. It’s also a piece of our history.

Aggie Ice Cream

Since 1888, it’s been a tradition for staff and students to make and sell delicious dairy products. We make Famous Aggie Ice Cream from the cow to the cone and serve it up for all to enjoy.

Located on the campus of Utah State University, as part of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, Aggie Ice Cream is located in the Nutrition Dietetics and Food Science building.  It is there that the tradition of making 26 tempting flavors of ice cream from fresh milk, cream and sugar to create more than ice cream.

Stop by the store on campus, and have a student dip up a scoop of our most popular flavor, Aggie Blue Mint, a mint flavored ice cream with bits of chocolate cookies and white chocolate.
