SLC Fermenting Co. LLC

Our product is called Habanero Arrow, which is a small batch, artisan made, fermented hot sauce made here in Salt Lake City, Utah.  My wife Tamra and I are former chefs and avid gardeners. We have been developing this product for just over four years. Habanero Arrow is a low-pH, Utah made, shelf-stable fermented hot sauce product which can go on the grocery shelves without the need for refrigeration.  

Habanero Arrow contains fresh habanero peppers, organic garlic, white vinegar, organic carrots, organic fresh herbs, organic xanthan gum (a natural thickener/emulsifier) and salt. This product is vegan, raw, gluten free and loaded with probiotics. It has the unique benefit of being both spicy and gut healthy. 

We are operating out of the Salt Fire Brewery at 2195 S. W. Temple in their commercial kitchen. This facility has been inspected and approved for food production by the Utah Department of Agriculture. 

SLC Fermenting endeavors to roll out some other hot sauces such as whiskey barrel aged hot sauces, other pepper-based sauces, probiotic health drink shots, spicy kimchis and kraut-chis, as well as other products. We’re also teaming up with Salt Fire Brewing to create some creative beer and other cocktails.  We’re just out of the gate with our flagship Habanero Arrow hot sauce.

Betony Traveling Café

Welcome to Betony Traveling Café, a personal/private chef and catering service founded in the summer of 2018 and based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.  

The business model of the café is unique, in that chef Billy Moschella, Jr., the owner and founder, prepares savory meals of your choice in your own home kitchen.  The café also prepares and delivers catering-style trays of fresh baked goods and pastries, available for direct purchase.

Betony Traveling Café is available for events of all kinds, including personal/private chef services, small-scale gatherings (maximum of 30 people), get-togethers with friends and family, and intimate candlelight dinners (for smaller groups).  It’s like bringing the restaurant or the pastry shop straight to your front door!

Cafe Diablo

Nestled below the Boulder and Thousand Lake Mountains on the doorstep of Capitol Reef National Park in Southern Utah, Cafe Diablo offers a fresh and fun dining experience that celebrates the geological majesty we find out our own backdoor. We ate here twice, and both times the food was great. The portions are generous, (especially the crab and shrimp stack and the ribs), and the elk steak is delicious!
Service is friendly and efficient, the margaritas and desserts are delicious, and the outdoor patio is relaxed and lovely, with flower borders and views of the canyon.

El Farol Mexican Restaurant

Locals have been dining at El Farol since 1967. With favorites like handmade tacos, family-recipe chile verde burritos and homemade salsa, it is a Mexican food staple in Salt Lake City.

Our food is made by hand from family recipes handed down over the generations. It brings back memories of our grandparents, who started the restaurant, and it brings authentic flavor to a community we love. The Grille Restaurant

We accommodate those of all ages.  We offer specialty sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, salads and soups for lunch and for dinners we have pasta, seafood, steaks, ribs and prime rib.  We smoke pulled pork, turkey breasts, brisket, ribs, wings and prime rib.  Our foods are served on our own buns and rolls that are baked fresh daily.
