Funky Oats

Funky Oats are Utah’s first gourmet organic, vegan and gluten free granola and granola bars which our customers consistently rate “5 stars”. Comments describe Funky Oats as, “The best granola I have ever eaten”. All of our products (including Funky Pup dog treats) are made with the finest, all natural, non-GMO ingredients; free of soy, dairy, corn and wheat.

Our granola bars are sweetened with organic blue agave, providing a natural source of energy. We currently offer six bar varieties, four of which have an almond butter base; “You’re a Tart, Cherry”, “Pecan Someone Your Own Size”, “Funked Up Coconut” and “Spicy Ginger Bites!”. “Espresso Yourself” is made with sunbutter, while “Too Cool for School” is made with all natural peanut butter. Our three loose granolas; “Super Seeding Expectations”, “The Berry Zest” and “Funknutty”, are lightly sweetened with Grade ‘A’ pure maple syrup.

Whether on a special diet, given as a gift, or just trying to incorporate healthier options, look no further than Funky Oats. All of our packaging utilizes recycled materials and our granola bags are compost.

Prin Ya Custard

Prin-Ya Custard introduces Japanese style custard desserts to Salt Lake City.

Familiarly known as a flan in the U. S., baked custard tastes a bit different in Japan, where the owner grew up, and she decided to share the silky texture and gentle sweetness to the community.

While baked custard is the original idea of this business, we also wanted to cater to vegan and lactose intolerant population, and after months of experiment with recipes, we created a perfect plant-base creamy dessert that is our Vegan Custard, and it became popular with everyone: vegan or non-vegan.  

Prin-Ya Custard believes in synergistic community and “buy local” movement. Our ingredients are locally sourced when possible. 

In efforts to reduce waste and plastic pollution, Prin-Ya custards come in reusable glass jars, and empty jars are collected regularly at several locations.

Bewilder Brewery

Located just a block south of Pioneer Park, Bewilder Brewing Co. is Salt Lake’s newest brewpub. From our start in homebrewing, and operating Salt City Brew Supply, to opening Bewilder, we have always had a focus on helping people in their discovery of the craft beer world and the process of brewing beer. We have a love of style specific beer, but have fun venturing into the unique as well. Bewilder has 16 tap handles that we are working to fill as we grow and hope people will follow us on our journey in this new venture. 

Bewilder also has food, and we are open for lunch to cater to the people working and living in downtown SLC. Our kitchen makes in-house traditional and unique sausages from scratch, along with pickles and fermented vegetables to pair with those regional beers from the brewery. A selection of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and scones round out the menu to give everyone an option to enjoy.

If you are exploring downtown Salt Lake City on foot, bike, or scooter we are close to most downtown amenities, and if you are driving downtown from the suburbs, we have dedicated and overflow parking at the brewery to make things easy.

VeloWafel LLC

VeloWafel is a bike-based purveyor of the Liège Wafel, a classic street treat that dates back to the 1800s from the Liège region of Belgium. Throughout Europe wafels are found everywhere, in small shops and on carts, served any time of day, with a dusting of powdered sugar and handed over in a waxed paper sleeve, to be enjoyed while sightseeing along cobblestone streets.

SLC Fermenting Co. LLC

Our product is called Habanero Arrow, which is a small batch, artisan made, fermented hot sauce made here in Salt Lake City, Utah.  My wife Tamra and I are former chefs and avid gardeners. We have been developing this product for just over four years. Habanero Arrow is a low-pH, Utah made, shelf-stable fermented hot sauce product which can go on the grocery shelves without the need for refrigeration.  

Habanero Arrow contains fresh habanero peppers, organic garlic, white vinegar, organic carrots, organic fresh herbs, organic xanthan gum (a natural thickener/emulsifier) and salt. This product is vegan, raw, gluten free and loaded with probiotics. It has the unique benefit of being both spicy and gut healthy. 

We are operating out of the Salt Fire Brewery at 2195 S. W. Temple in their commercial kitchen. This facility has been inspected and approved for food production by the Utah Department of Agriculture. 

SLC Fermenting endeavors to roll out some other hot sauces such as whiskey barrel aged hot sauces, other pepper-based sauces, probiotic health drink shots, spicy kimchis and kraut-chis, as well as other products. We’re also teaming up with Salt Fire Brewing to create some creative beer and other cocktails.  We’re just out of the gate with our flagship Habanero Arrow hot sauce.

Betony Traveling Café

Welcome to Betony Traveling Café, a personal/private chef and catering service founded in the summer of 2018 and based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.  

The business model of the café is unique, in that chef Billy Moschella, Jr., the owner and founder, prepares savory meals of your choice in your own home kitchen.  The café also prepares and delivers catering-style trays of fresh baked goods and pastries, available for direct purchase.

Betony Traveling Café is available for events of all kinds, including personal/private chef services, small-scale gatherings (maximum of 30 people), get-togethers with friends and family, and intimate candlelight dinners (for smaller groups).  It’s like bringing the restaurant or the pastry shop straight to your front door!
