Bonneville Produce Farms

Bonneville Farms Produce grows local sweet corn, tomatoes, melons and giant pumpkins.

We grow our produce on a small farm south of Delta, Utah, in Millard county. We grow both organic and conventional produce but most of our farm is operated under integrated farming practices, taking the best practices of organic and the best practices of conventional production, allowing us to implement the best practices from both worlds. We grow sweet corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, watermelon and peppers and have planted peaches and apples for future production. We also have honey bees. Our produce is available at the Farm Bureau farmers markets and Orem farmers market and select grocery retailers in central Utah. Bonneville Farms Produce also sells to several restaurants along the Wasatch front.

Rino’s Italian Fresh

Rino’s Italian Fresh believes in producing good quality salsa, marinara sauce and pesto made from his own naturally grown heirloom tomatoes and produce.  Rino’s mission is to provide a product made from vine ripe tomatoes with amazing fresh flavor.

He couldn’t stand the thought of sitting at home after retirement. Rino has always lived a very active lifestyle and now has decided to pursue producing his home made sauces.

Rino is starting off with making his fresh sauces and selling them at the local farmers markets. He is selling his products seasonally for now so he can maintain the high quality sauce with his produce. Flavor means everything to Rino and he doesn’t want to compromise that with sourcing his produce elsewhere.

I like Rino’s Italian Fresh because the varieties of produce they sell are quite different from what else you would typically find in Utah. The main products I would recommend are the grapes, figs, and basil. I haven’t found another farmer who sells products like the grapes and basil. And even cold-hardy figs are quite difficult to grow in the long winter climate.

The quality of produce grown by these lovely people is second to none, it is the best Salt Lake City has to offer! I love knowing these two care for the earth and soil as much as they do for the vegetables they grow.

Just made potato salad with your garlic scapes. OMG it is amazing!!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for introducing me to scapes. I have added them to a bunch of my old standby dishes as well as trying the things you suggested. I don’t know what I did before scapes. They are so good and add to everything I try them in!

I’ve been following Tyler since the Sand Hill Farms days and his ever-expanding produce selection has–in terms of taste, nutrition and environmental stewardship–consistently been as good as it gets.

Houweling’s Tomatoes

Houweling’s Tomatoes is a family-owned greenhouse tomato farm producing year-round locally grown tomatoes. Our tomatoes and cucumbers are grown from third-party verified 100 percent non-GMO seeds.

As a grower, we sense plants’ needs by walking the greenhouse every day, watching and observing, getting in touch with the crop. Craftsman’s care can be found in everything we do, from seeding through propagation, growing, nurturing, picking, packing, shipping, servicing customers and bringing the best-tasting tomatoes to the table. You don’t have to take our word for it; our tasty tomatoes do the talking.

In our quest for perfection, we have become world-renowned as a pioneer of technologies that improve sustainability, food safety, yields, and consistency. Newly-erected Ultra-Clima® Greenhouses help to optimize conditions that allow our crops to flourish—the right temperatures, humidity, light, carbon dioxide levels. Herbicides are never used in the greenhouse and pesticide-use is a last resort.

These tomatoes ????  are so delicious I feel like I’m eating candy. These are the best I’ve ever had, and I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley where we ate a lot of fresh from the field ones. Don’t change anything!

Absolutely the most delicious tomatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life! I’m not ashamed to admit I almost ate an entire package by myself. Also, was very excited to see both a date and location of the tomatoes’ harvest and packaging (Mona, UT, 24 April 2015). Glad to know where my food comes from!
