Prin Ya Custard

Prin-Ya Custard introduces Japanese style custard desserts to Salt Lake City.

Familiarly known as a flan in the U. S., baked custard tastes a bit different in Japan, where the owner grew up, and she decided to share the silky texture and gentle sweetness to the community.

While baked custard is the original idea of this business, we also wanted to cater to vegan and lactose intolerant population, and after months of experiment with recipes, we created a perfect plant-base creamy dessert that is our Vegan Custard, and it became popular with everyone: vegan or non-vegan.

Prin-Ya Custard believes in synergistic community and “buy local” movement. Our ingredients are locally sourced when possible.

In efforts to reduce waste and plastic pollution, Prin-Ya custards come in reusable glass jars, and empty jars are collected regularly at several locations.

Capt. Lens BBQ

Capt. Len’s BBQ has been a part of the local community for over 18 years. We started by creating and selling our barbecue rubs, which we still use today!

We offer Southern Style Barbecue ranging from our Baby Back Ribs and North Carolina Pulled Pork to our Texas Brisket and side dishes, which include our award winning BBQ Beans, Coleslaw, Cajun Corn, Potato Salad and our Adult Mac & Cheese.

The Captain created his original barbecue sauce back in 2010. He begins that process by making his own chipotle ketchup as the base for his sauce.  Capt. The Traditional Cuban Sandwich was great. Will keep my eyes open for Havana Eats so I can try more of their food

Hmm, that’s good pork! The food truck servers up faster than most trucks. The pork and rice were hot, tender and filling. The aioli is light with hints of fresh garlic and lemons.

People who love delicious pork not soaked in brown sugar should give their Cuban sandwich a try.

Yelp Review

Literally ate half of my Traditional Cuban just now. Couldn’t wait for the truck to come to Fisher, so I went and found them in West Valley. The guys are fantastic, super cool and super fast at delivering the goods!  This sandwich is fantastic!  These guys don’t hold back, either!  They give VERY generous amounts of pork, ham and cheese.  Can’t wait for my next sandwich, A++++ ALL THE WAY!  Best Cubano I’ve had in SLC, thanks!
