Nestled in downtown Vernal, Utah within the heart of Uintah County, Vernal Brewing Company is a unique craft beer brewery and gastropub. In addition to brewing and canning quality craft beers to be sold in-house and distributed across Uintah County and the Salt Lake Valley, we host a family-friendly restaurant/gastropub with patio seating and dining options ranging from comfort food and appetizers to local favorites.
A fun fact about our beer: all of our spent grain – the barley left over after brewing is used to feed local livestock. One of those family farms spends their time raising bucking bulls for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR). Additionally, all of our can labels have maps in the background. If you look closely, you might recognize geographical points.
Our outdoor seating area is surrounded by our own organic garden where we grow the vegetables for our kitchen and some hops for the brewery. Vernal Brewing Company is a great place for families, friends, craft beer lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. We’re proud to be a part of Utah’s Own and invite you to celebrate with us should you be a local resident or a traveler to the area on business or for leisurely pleasure.
I live in Oregon and came back to the basin to visit family and we came to Vernal brewing for dinner. The beer was fantastic and so was the food!

Founder & Owner
We are a made up of a small group of people who enjoy sharing exceptional food and craft beer with friends and family. That fuels our passion to create a one-of-a-kind experience, with dishes made from the garden, craft beers on par with the best in the country and a gathering place that is warm and welcome.
Our brewmaster earned a diploma in craft brewing from the American Brewers and worked for Pyramid Brewery for 11 years before coming to Vernal, where he could be hands on with local craft beer maker that friends and neighbors could enjoy with good food. The result is a local beer that embraces local tradition. All of our can labels have maps in the background. If you look closely, you will be able to recognize geographical points.
