For corporations, we understand brand image and attaining goals, and strive to deliver signature style and quality. We work within your budget to ensure a seamless and spectacular event.
I absolutely adore working with LUX Catering and Events! They are an incredible catering company to work with. Kelly, Christopher and the rest of the team are so friendly and professional. They are creative and willing to go off the beaten path to create what their clients envision.
I can’t say enough good things about this company! It is made up of a team of some of the most talented individuals I’ve ever met. They can take any budget and create an unforgettable event. From the food to the decorations, they think of every small detail and make it simply amazing.
Lux Catering is one of the best catering services in the entire state. I have worked with them for over four years to plan a variety of fundraisers and events throughout the state and I have never worked with a more professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff.

Founded in 1995, Lux Catering and Events has continually grown to what it is today. Pat Slade, Owner, began working as a caterer in St George, Utah over 40 years ago. She then moved to Salt Lake City and began her own business, Pat’s Weddings. John and Kelly Lake, partners and owners today, have worked with Pat for over 30 years. Even before Pat became a caterer, she and her brother John were in the food service business, working for their father at the family-owned restaurant, The Hungry Guy, which was, for many years, located on 1300 East near the University of Utah Campus.
We help our customers build events for the future. This philosophy is born from our love of food, events, telling stories, pushing boundaries, and by creating experiences.
