Hatch Family Chocolates

Chocolate Shoppe

Our Hatch Family milk and dark chocolates are masterfully created in our kitchen following the same recipes created by Steve’s Grandmother. We are still evolving our flavors and will keep adding to these wonderful selections. Choose from a selection of assorted hand-dipped chocolates—with or without nuts.

Your box may contain any of the following chocolates: Almond Cluster, Almond Coconut Caramel, Apricot Cream, Bavarian Mint Truffle (Steve’s Favorite), Caramel, Caramel Pecan, Cherry Cream, Chocolate Cream, Chocolate Truffle, Cranberry Cluster, Haystacks, Lemon Cream, Mint Cream, Orange Cream, Peanut Butter Truffle, Penuche, Raspberry Cream, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Cream, and Vanilla Cream—to list a few. Pick up a box today.

Speed and mass production have resulted in the development of copies, but can never replace the uniqueness of the real thing. If you receive a gift of our hand-dipped candies, you can be assured that the giver considers you special. That person wanted you to enjoy some high quality candy and a taste of the past before it is gone forever. We hope that you agree that it was worth their effort.

In 1917 Grandma became a professional chocolate dipper. Since then, four generations of her children and grandchildren have been instructed in the techniques of hand dipping chocolates and making quality candies.

Today there are few true chocolate dippers and candy makers. These skills are fast becoming a lost art. Our Avenues storefront was opened in 2003 to ensure that our family’s strong tradition of candy making survives and is passed on for many generations.
