Epic Brewing Company

Craft Beer

Epic Brewing Company was founded on one core concept: a passion for strong beer. Since its inception, Epic has pushed the boundaries of the craft beer industry. Epic creates high-quality, fresh, and extremely flavorful beer in small quantities with unending varieties. We only use the finest malts from the US and Europe, intense hops, and triple filtered water.

We hand craft and carefully package our unique beers in cans and 22-oz bottles, which are perfect for sharing. Whether you’re a casual drinker or an adventurous beer connoisseur, Epic has a taste for every pallet.

Reviews:

My wife and I had just arrived from Miami and decided to stop by Epic Brewing. The beers were solid!! My wife loved the sours and I am a stout fan myself. Claire was an absolute joy and very knowledgeable! Claire was also very attentive to the vibe music-wise and kept the clientele engaged and comfortable. We’re brewery people and highly recommend this place! – Sumi Music, Google Review

The folks that work here are attentive and seem to genuinely enjoy both good beer and people. The beer is top notch. The selection is extensive but not in a gimmicky way. Pick anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed. A visit to Epic is a must when visiting SLC.” – Kate Nave, Google Review

After living here 1 year. Only place you can get multiple IPAS. Great atmosphere and servers/bartenders. Wish all breweries in SLC had a selection like this . They also were very friendly with my German shepherd puppy. Couldn’t be happier.” – Marko Zivkovic, Google Review

Peter Erickson & Dave Cole
Co-Owners

Dave Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in California. Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and “Epic” adventure junkies, they share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything “all out.” Epic Brewing Company opened in Salt Lake City, Utah with six 10 barrel fermentation tanks giving it the flexibility to create a variety of small batch, artisanal beer. Within a few short months, Epic began earning medals for its beers domestically and internationally.
