We started Dash of Granola by going to the Kaysville Farmers Markets on Thursdays selling cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, and corn stalks. This past season we doubled our production and are more excited than ever!
We will be at every Kaysville market this next summer selling Hooper tomatoes, peppers, onions, leeks, summer and winter squash, herbs, kale, leafy greens, beets, tomatillos, farm fresh eggs, Stella’s fresh cut flowers, and much more.

When I held my son Jefferson for the first time, I knew he had Down’s syndrome. I read about a farm in New York that hires people with intellectual disabilities to work on their farm. This sparked an idea, why couldn’t I do that?
I have an extensive background in horticulture and a degree in ornamental horticulture from Utah State. My goal within the next couple of years is to hire young people with Down’s syndrome to work for the farm and provide a safe learning environment for them.
