At Chocolot, we are passionate about our products. We are a small artisan shop that makes the finest molded and enrobed truffles and toffee in small batches. We make everything in-house and insist on using the best quality ingredients and packaging.
Our molded chocolate truffles feature artistic designs and patterns that are like small works of art. We are told that they are too pretty to eat—but they are too delicious not to. We use high-end chocolate with a high cocoa butter percentage so the chocolate melts smoothly on your tongue.
We were awarded the Best of the Beehive by Salt Lake Magazine and we’ve been featured in Sunset and Cooking Light magazines. Custom orders for your special event are welcome. We believe that high-quality ingredients are essential to creating wonderful chocolates and confections. We source our premium chocolate from producers in San Francisco and France. We use premium ingredients with no preservatives or artificial flavors, and each chocolate is handmade by our founder Ruth Kendrick.
Ruth Kendrick has been making candy and various chocolates for more than 50 years. She is a second-generation chocolatier, having learned at her mother’s (Pauline H. Atkinson) side. Ruth and Pauline co-authored HP Books Candymaking, including their favorite recipes and helpful hints. Ruth has taught many classes in candymaking throughout the country. She has been a guest presenter on a Trans-Atlantic Chocolate Cruise, and has appeared on the Food Network with Bobby Flay and Al Roker. Her personal philosophy is that her candy must be the best tasting, freshest, and most visually exciting chocolates available.
