The Benson Grist Mill is an historic site containing historical buildings, including the Mill, which was built in 1854. We hold a Farmers Market annually on our site as a way to invite the community to visit our site and also for local growers to sell their produce and other products.
We accommodate those of all ages. We offer specialty sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, salads and soups for lunch and for dinners we have pasta, seafood, steaks, ribs and prime rib. We smoke pulled pork, turkey breasts, brisket, ribs, wings and prime rib. Our foods are served on our own buns and rolls that are baked fresh daily.
What is an alpaca? How are they different from llamas? What do you do with them? Come visit us and discover the pleasant animals that alpacas are. Feed them grain, touch their sheared fleece, get adventurous and try carding the fleece! Purchase hand-knitted apparel made from alpaca fleece (hats and more). Buy some amazing hand-spun yarn and make your own hats!
